Malaysia Proton Launches "Proton e.Mas 7" – The First Malaysian EV Vehicle

Proton has launched the "Proton e.MAS 7," marking the introduction of Malaysia's first electric vehicle. This significant event represents a pivotal moment in the nation's automotive history.The new product, "Proton e.MAS 7," is a C-segment pure electric SUV.

Proton's decision to create this vehicle stems from a commitment to lead the national automotive industry towards sustainability, positivity, and proactive development.This groundbreaking concept was brought to Malaysia by Pro-Net, a subsidiary of Proton. Since June, when the new electric vehicle brand e.MAS was announced and 18 dealers were introduced, Pro-Net has expanded its network to 29 dealers nationwide.The Proton e.MAS 7 is a pure C-segment electric SUV, developed in collaboration with Geely Group, and is designed to meet the needs of modern lifestyles. This vehicle has undergone 700,000 working hours and 10 million kilometers of rigorous testing to ensure its durability and reliability.Additionally, Pro-Net aims to operate 25 Proton e.MAS showrooms before the initial launch of the Proton e.MAS 7, further solidifying Proton's dedication to advancing the national automotive industry.
